On the occasion of the 185th anniversary of the Italian confectionery company Sperlari, its three brands enter Italy\u2019s Register of Historical Trademarks<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Italian confectionery\ncompany, Sperlari<\/a><\/strong>,\nhas entered the Register of <\/strong>Historic Trademarks of National Interest<\/strong><\/a> established\nby Italy\u2019s Ministry of Economic Development. The register also includes\nthe Galatine <\/strong>brand \u2013 famous milk candy invented in Italy in\n1956 and produced with 100% Italian milk in the Sperlari plant in Cremona \u2013\nand Saila\u2019s<\/strong> \u2013 a company founded in 1937 which nowadays\nproduces 100% Italian licorice and mint in Abruzzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recognition takes place on the\noccasion of the 185th birthday of the company<\/strong>, founded back in 1836\nin a historic store in Cremona<\/strong> by entrepreneur Enea Sperlari.\nThe company is now a leader in the Italian confectionery market<\/strong><\/a> and a symbol of Made in Italy<\/strong><\/a> throughout\nthe world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAll of our brands<\/em> \u2013\nsays CEO Piergiorgio Burei<\/strong> \u2013 have always been produced\nin our four plants in Italy with extensive use of Italian raw materials: the\nfruit of Sperlari, the milk of Galatine, and the mint and licorice of Saila<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
